FAQ

Will people be able to tell that I’m wearing extensions and how long should my hair be to have them done?
Your hair should be at least 4 inches long on top. The more layers you have the more extensions you would need. No one will be able to tell you have extensions as I blend them with your own hair. The colour match will be completely the same as your own hair. They will look completely natural.

Will my new hair feel heavy?

At first you will definitely notice the extra volume and length. You will very quickly get used to your extensions. The extensions are so closely matched in look and weight to your real hair that, within hours, they start feeling entirely like your own.

How do I look after my extensions?
Never brush your hair with a comb or a brush over the extensions. Brush your hair from the bottom upwards. Tie your hair up loosely at night. Use a paddle brush or a soft bristle brush. Always make sure the bonds are separate by brushing regularly and running your fingers through your hair. Your new head of hair will look and feel just like your own. You can wash, dry and style it just as you would your own hair. You can use hair straighteners, tongs and leave it natural. Whatever you would use on your own hair you can use on your hair extensions. Please see the Care Information section for further information.

Do I need to buy expensive special shampoos and conditioners?

I recommend that you use a professional quality shampoo and conditioner to ensure the longevity of your extensions and to avoid tangling of your own hair. Please see the Price Guide section for information on a hair care pack you can purchase.

Can I use a hairdryer, hot rollers, hair straighteners, tongs and other styling equipment?
Yes, you can use all of the above however you will have to be careful not to use these too close to the bonds as this can cause them to melt or losen.

How much will the extensions cost?
That depends entirely on what you choose and what the length, thickness and density of your hair is. Please see the Price Guide section for more information.

Can I just add volume and highlights?
Yes, extensions can be added for volume (100 bonds) or fashions pieces (50 bonds) can be added for highlights.

How long will my extensions last?

Each individual is different. They will last between 2 to 3 months depending on the thickness of your own hair and how you look after them.

Should I give my hair a rest between extensions?

There is no need if you do not want to as they do not damage your hair in anyway if they are looked after properly. Most people prefer to have their extensions removed and replaced on the same day, so their hair continues looking as good as ever.

What about sun and salt-water damage?

You can swim and go into the sun or on the sunbed. The hair will lighten in the sun as it is 100% real hair, as does your own hair.
